Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

Utility Bills is a free legislative-tracking tool for Tennessee utility staff. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Informational only — not legal advice

Everything in Utility Bills — relevance scores, summaries, impact assessments, and hearing dates — is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal, compliance, or professional advice, and it does not create any advisor relationship. Summaries and scores are generated in part by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. Always verify anything you plan to act on against the official bill text and your own counsel before relying on it.

Please don't:

Free service & changes

The service is currently offered free of charge. We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Data sources

Legislative data is drawn from public sources including LegiScan and the Tennessee General Assembly. Those sources remain authoritative; where our data and the official record differ, the official record controls.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any loss or damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its content.
